I don't have an actual art statement; I don't have a particular one. Every series that I do has its own message. If you want to discover my thoughts, read my statements in a specific sequence; therefore, you get to know why I do what I do. For me, time and space are significant. Sometimes I feel the threats that are attached to our deaths are the ones that keep us alive. I believe in living; I don't particularly appreciate surviving.

I don't photograph for fame and fortune. I photograph simply to connect; it is between my subject and me. I want my audience to be able to live inside my photos.
